• Employment Companies say that British Employers can prepare employees for working abroad by offering cultural training programs that educate them on the cultural nuances of the host country.
• That is impossible for British workers going to work abroad.

• When we had British Empire we trained the colonial officer for 3 months full time in the etiquette behaviour and phrases of local language of different levels of society before sending them to a colony.
• But the day to day running of each colony was left to the local big wigs that had been before we arrived, on our behalf. The wives and children remained in the British compound and had no local cultural contact.
