End Frozen Pensions for UK citizens

For Non Falkland Islanders
For UK citizens who retire to Falkland Islands, having paid into UK National Insurance Fund, the UK state pension will no longer be frozen and they will get the £400 per week UK state pension. It will be UK income taxed, as Falkland Islands has a double taxation law.  


Falkland Islands are not foreign policy.

Under the British Nationality (Falkland Islands) Act 1983, Falkland Islanders are British citizens.

Under section 2(1)(a) of the British Nationality Act 1981, a person born outside of the UK on or after 1 January 1983 is a British citizen at birth, if at the time of birth, either parent is a British citizen 'otherwise than by descent'.


The population (3,398 inhabitants in 2016) consists primarily of native-born Falkland Islanders, the majority of British descent.

The first undisputed landing on the islands is attributed to English captain John Strong, who, en route to Peru and Chile's littoral in 1690, explored the Falkland Sound and noted the islands' water and game.

The name "Falkland" was applied to the channel by John Strong, captain of an English expedition that landed on the islands in 1690.

There was no permanent original American Indian population.

In March 2013, the Falkland Islands held a referendum on its political status: 99.8% of votes cast favoured remaining a British overseas territory.


GOVERNANCE AND WHERE IS FALKLAND ISLANDS 

Falkland Islands are internally self-governing overseas territory of the United Kingdom in the South Atlantic Ocean. 

Falkland Islands lie about 300 miles (480 km) northeast of the southern tip of South America and a similar distance east of the Strait of Magellan. 

The islands are self-governing, although foreign affairs and defence matters are handled by the British government. 

There is no party-political activity on the islands. 

A new constitution to enhance the powers of the Executive Council came into force on 1 January 2009.

South Georgia and Sandwich Islands could be within Falklands Island government, as have no permanent inhabitants save occasional British Antartica Survey scientific people. 

It is up to knowledgeable people who volunteer admin Over 50s party into reality, to get better representation in parliament for the Falkland Islanders. 

Under the British Nationality (Falkland Islands) Act 1983, Falkland Islanders are British citizens. British Nationality could be obtained through their birth, or through the birth of any one of their parents or grandparents, in the Falklands.
They have their own state pension for their own resident citizens. 

The Over 50s party government global ambassadors will campaign to the Falklands Islands government to bring down state pension payment age to 60 for men and women. At present, the 1980s to 2000 born Falkland Islanders have between pension ages 68 to 70. 

Argentina will not go to war over The Falkland Islands again, as Argentina cannot take the moral high ground, as they committed genocide (only around 600,000 now left) on the original American Indian (Native American) population, even though the Native Americans integrated into Spanish life, beginning by becoming horse riding cowboys. The Argentinian cavalry either killed or enslaved American Indians, preventing them from having children.
